{first boudior session}

i did my first boudoir shoot; talk about being scared. i was fortunate enough though to have someone that was a great sport and had a lot of fun with it. i am not able to show any of the pictures yet but as soon as i am able to; i will. with this being my first boudoir shoot i was very happy with the results....stay tuned!!!

{oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree}

" oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, why do i have to make you look so perfect"

when calgary got hit with a blast from old man winter this past weekend i thought now was any good time then ever to setup our christmas tree. i have to say that next time we buy a fake christmas tree it is going to be a pre-light one; i don't know how many times i put the lights on - took the lights off - put the lights on - took the lights off - put the lights on. by the time i got them just right, i was to tired to put anything else on the tree. saturday afternoon came around and old man winter was still visiting so i started to put the rest of the trimmings on it. again it was does this star go here or here - nope over here. sunday was the final touches of three presents under the tree.....after a weekend of tree perfection here is what "she" looks like....

{christmas is coming}

every time i see this picture it makes my heart melt. it was taken last year of my boxer puppy (not so much a puppy, although he likes to think so; he's 6) i hope to capture some more christmas photos in the upcoming month and share with you my love for christmas.

{play day}

i am not going to lie; i love to dress up in my wedding dress just for fun. what else am I going to do with it?
this weekend karissa and I gathered all our wedding items together (dresses included) and started snapping pictures. i am still undecided if i was more excited for the experience of taking pictures or putting my wedding dress on...

{lunch time fun}

on tuesday my new photo buddy karissa and i thought we would get in some practice before our fun shoot this saturday. we ventured over to prince's island park and tried a few new tricks we learnt in school and even played on the awesome playground that was there. stay tunned for saturdays "put on your wedding dress and take fun pictures" shoot :~)

{gaval family + 8}

on saturday i ventured out with the gaval family, their significant others and their children. this has been my biggest family shoot yet and despite the chilly weather we experienced, everyone was cooperative and really fun. thank you very much for allowing me to capture your beautiful smiles and family love.

thanksgiving weekend i was given the opportunity to photograph a great friend and her husband's wedding; carla & scot. it was an honor to be able to share this special day with them and meet their families. from the church to the reception to the dress; the details of this wedding where stunning. one thing i couldn't help but notice every time i saw the bride and groom together was the love they have for each other. i wish them both all the best and can't help but say; welcome to the club.
